What Basecamp gets right
Basecamp proved flat pricing can win, and has been honest about it for twenty years while everyone else built meters. Clients are genuinely free on every tier, Pro Unlimited really is one flat number, and their refusal to bloat the product is a principle, not a limitation. This is the rival we're most philosophically aligned with.
