What Smartsheet gets right
Smartsheet is the best grid-first work tool there is. If your team genuinely thinks in spreadsheets and needs enterprise reporting across thousands of rows, its depth is real and hard to replicate.
The honest take
The base price is only the start of the quote. Business is $19 a seat with a 3-seat minimum, SSO is Enterprise-only with no published price, and the pieces teams assume are included are separately licensed: Dynamic View for controlled external sharing is a flat $125 a month add-on, and Data Shuttle, Control Center and Resource Management are each priced apart. Add them up and the real number is well above the one on the pricing page.

Sahnga is flat where it counts — the seat, not the total: $5 for each person who creates or edits, one maker free, and that rate never climbs a tier at 10 people or 1,000. The total isn't one fixed number; it's your maker count times $5 and nothing else — no minimums, no rungs, no add-ons, and viewers, commenters, guests and clients never count. There are no tiers to climb: unmetered automations, timeline and dependencies, time tracking, full history, the API and one-click export are in every plan, including Free.
How much does Smartsheet cost for a team of 10?+
Ten people on Sahnga is $45 a month — $5 each with the first maker free, and unlimited viewers, guests and clients on top at no charge. Matching that feature-for-feature on Smartsheet means Business plus Dynamic View, which comes to about $315 a month for ten at their best published rate. And it's a floor, not a quote: SSO is only sold through a sales call, so the real number is higher.
