What Monday.com gets right

Monday sells energy better than anyone, and its dashboards and board customization are genuinely good. For teams that want work to feel visual and bright, it lands.

The honest take

The packaging is where it costs you. There's a 3-seat minimum and seats are sold at the fixed rungs of their own selector — 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 — so a six-person team buys the ten-seat rung and pays for four people it doesn't have. The automation cliff is the sharp one: Standard allows 250 automation actions and 250 integration actions a month — teams routinely exhaust that in days — while Pro allows 25,000. That's a 100× jump priced at about +58% per seat. SSO is Enterprise-only with no published price, and AI runs on its own credit layer.

The bill, in plain words

Sahnga's arithmetic never changes: $5 a month for every maker after the first — the same rate at 10 people, at 200, at 1,000, with no tier to climb and no Enterprise number to negotiate. Monday.com bills per seat the whole way up too — the difference is what the seat includes, and who never counts. Viewers, commenters, guests and clients are free on our side at any size.

The switch

Why teams switch from Monday.com to Sahnga

Moving your work off Monday.com

Monday exports boards to Excel from the board menu, and Sahnga imports CSV — items become tasks, groups become statuses, and people, dates and text columns map straight across. Move a board at a time; nothing about the export is locked.

Questions

Sahnga vs Monday.com FAQ

Is there a flat-priced Monday.com alternative?+

Sahnga is flat where it counts — the seat, not the total: $5 for each person who creates or edits, one maker free, and that rate never climbs a tier at 10 people or 1,000. The total isn't one fixed number; it's your maker count times $5 and nothing else — no minimums, no rungs, no add-ons, and viewers, commenters, guests and clients never count. There are no tiers to climb: unmetered automations, timeline and dependencies, time tracking, full history, the API and one-click export are in every plan, including Free.

How much does Monday.com cost for a team of 10?+

Ten people on Sahnga is $45 a month — $5 each with the first maker free, and unlimited viewers, guests and clients on top at no charge. Matching that feature-for-feature on Monday.com means Pro, which comes to about $190 a month for ten at their best published rate. And it's a floor, not a quote: SSO is only sold through a sales call, so the real number is higher.

Does Sahnga import from Monday.com?+

Monday exports boards to Excel from the board menu, and Sahnga imports CSV — items become tasks, groups become statuses, and people, dates and text columns map straight across. Move a board at a time; nothing about the export is locked.

Does Monday.com charge extra for SSO?+

SSO sits on Enterprise, and Monday publishes no Enterprise price — you book a call and negotiate. That's true of seven of the thirteen tools we track. When SAML and SSO land, they're on every plan — Free included — at no extra cost. We will never charge you for logging in securely.

Does Monday.com have a seat minimum?+

Yes — a 3-seat minimum, and seats are sold at the fixed rungs of their team-size selector rather than per head, so a team of six buys the ten-seat rung and pays for four people it doesn't have. Sahnga has no minimum and no rungs: you pay for the people who actually create and edit, and viewers, guests and clients are free.

What is the Monday.com automation limit?+

Standard allows 250 automation actions plus 250 integration actions a month, which busy boards can exhaust in days; Pro raises that to 25,000 — a hundredfold increase for roughly 58% more per seat. Sahnga doesn't meter automations at all, on any plan.
