10people
10 people — 1 free, 9 × $5
$45/mo total
Your 10 people: $45/mo — Asana charges $24.99 for ONE person.
Seating your whole team on Asana: ~$250/mo. Sahnga: $45/mo. That $24.99 is the annual rate on Asana Advanced — the cheapest plan of theirs carrying what Sahnga includes at $5.
The real comparison
Everyone else’s price, with everything included.
Comparing our $5 against a rival's cheapest plan flatters them, not us — their cheapest plan isn't the same product. So this table asks the only fair question: which plan, plus which add-ons, would you have to buy over there to get what Sahnga hands you on day one?
- SAML / SSO (ours: every plan when it lands, no upcharge)
- Unmetered automations
- Timeline & dependencies
- Free guests & clients
- Time tracking
- Full history & audit log
- API access
- One-click export
10 people, everything included: $45/mo here. The median tool on this list wants $190 — 4.2× more.

Competitor figures are their cheapest published price for this team size — annual billing wherever a vendor offers it (Basecamp Pro doesn’t), and a vendor’s own flat plan wherever that beats their seat math. Monthly billing widens every gap above. Verified 2026‑07‑26 against the vendor pricing pages linked in the receipts below.
SAML/SSO is in the baseline as a commitment we have already priced. On every plan when it lands — never an upcharge.
7 of 13 tools on this list won’t sell you SSO at any published price. You have to book a call and negotiate an Enterprise contract to log in securely.
That’s why those rows show a floor, not a price — we won’t invent a number we can’t source. When SAML and SSO land, they're on every plan — Free included — at no extra cost. We will never charge you for logging in securely.

ClickUp Business · $12/seat
$120/mo for 10
- SAML SSO is Enterprise-only (Business gets Google sign-in only)
- Automations capped at 5,000 actions/mo on Business — unlimited is Enterprise-only
Trello Premium · $10/seat
$140/mo for 10
- + Atlassian Guard Standard ($4/seat) — SSO and user provisioning are a separate Atlassian subscription below Enterprise.
- Multi-board guests (Enterprise only)
- No dependencies at any tier
Slack Business+ · $15/seat
$150/mo for 10
- Multi-channel guests bill as full members
- Enterprise+ for advanced compliance & data residency
Not a task tool — listed because Sahnga includes chat, so teams buy Slack on top of a PM tool.
Basecamp Pro · $15/seat
$150/mo for 10
- SSO does not exist on any plan, at any price
- No timeline, no dependencies (by design)
- No subtasks — an on-record product decision, not a gap
The fairest pricing on this list — clients are genuinely free, and Pro Unlimited is a flat $299/mo billed annually. Pro's $15 bills monthly; there is no cheaper annual per-seat rate to credit them with. Past 20 people the flat plan beats their own per-seat rate, so that is what we quote. Credit where it's due.
Linear Business · $16/seat
$160/mo for 10
- SAML SSO is Enterprise-only with no add-on path
- Guests bill as full seats
Jira Premium · $14.54/seat
$185.40/mo for 10
- + Atlassian Guard Standard ($4/seat) — SAML SSO is a separate per-user subscription unless you're on Cloud Enterprise.
- Premium is a whole-org upgrade — everyone pays, not just the people who need it
Jira's per-user rate steps down above ~100 seats, so large teams pay less per head than shown.
Monday.com Pro · $19/seat
$190/mo for 10
- SAML SSO is Enterprise-only
- Automations capped at 25,000 actions/mo
Seats sell at the fixed rungs of their own team-size selector — 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 100 and “200+” — off a 3-user minimum (“Plans start from 3 users”), both read off monday.com/pricing, 2026-07-26. So a 12-person team buys the 15-seat rung. We only bill those rungs up to 50: their FAQ says teams above 40 users can request a quote, so above 50 we bill exact seats rather than claim a 61-person team is forced onto the selector's 100-seat rung. Self-serve buyers at that size really do overshoot; we won't build a number on it.
Notion Business · $20/seat
$200/mo for 10
- Audit log (Enterprise only)
- SCIM (Enterprise only)
Repriced since our last check: Business is $20/seat on annual billing, $24 monthly. We use the annual $20.
Teamwork.com Accelerate · $24.99/seat
$249.90/mo for 10
- SAML SSO is Enterprise-only
- Client users need Accelerate — they are not free
Asana Advanced · $24.99/seat
$249.90/mo for 10
- SAML SSO is Enterprise-only
- Starter cannot reach the baseline at all — Advanced is the floor
Workload, time tracking and portfolios all sit on Advanced — Starter can't reach the baseline.
Wrike Business · $25/seat
$250/mo for 10
- SAML SSO is Enterprise-only
- Whiteboard ($15/seat/mo), Integrate, Lock, Datahub and Two-Way Sync are all separately priced
Team caps at 15 users; Business bills a 5-seat minimum and caps at 200. Their add-on catalogue is real — Whiteboard alone is $15 per seat per month — but a whiteboard isn't in the Sahnga baseline, so by rule 4 it stays out of the parity math and in the prose where it belongs.
Smartsheet Business · $19/seat
$315/mo for 10
- + Dynamic View ($125/mo) — Controlled external sharing is a separately licensed add-on.
- SAML SSO is Enterprise-only
- Data Shuttle, Control Center, Resource Management all sold separately
Third-party trackers report Business as high as $32/seat in 2026; we use the lower $19 figure.
Airtable Business · $45/seat
$450/mo for 10
- Audit logs (Enterprise Scale only)
- Record and automation-run ceilings on every tier
Method: each “with everything included” figure is the cheapest published plan carrying the most of the Sahnga baseline, plus any add-on required to close the gap, times the seats that vendor actually bills (minimums and seat brackets included). Where a feature can’t be bought at a published price, we show the shortfall instead of guessing. Corrections welcome — we’ll fix anything we got wrong.

Questions
Fair questions.
Is the free plan really the whole product?+
Yes — every view, every feature, no meters, no time limit. The only things you'd ever pay for are the ones that take two people: a second editor, and team chat. Solo, Sahnga is complete. When it becomes a team, it's $5 for each person who edits — flat, per person, every month.
What's the catch?+
There isn't one. We're a small, independent company with no investors demanding growth-at-any-cost. Software margins at these prices still make a healthy business — the incumbents' pricing is what's unusual, not ours.
When can I use it?+
Today — signup is open and there's no waitlist and no credit card. We onboard new teams in small batches so every team gets a fast, calm first week, so you'll usually have your workspace within a day.
How is $5 a person sustainable?+
Modern infrastructure costs a few dollars per team per month, and we don't carry a sales team, an ad budget, or a growth quota. Small teams use self-serve support (great docs, great product); human support begins once you're paying. Prices are locked for life for founding teams.
Who's building this?+
A solo founder, building in public, profitable by design — not a venture bet that disappears in two years. Your data is exportable at any moment, so you never have to trust us blindly.
I'm a student — is there a discount?+
Better than a discount. If you own the workspace with an active .edu email address, 3 people create and edit for free instead of one — and it's the full product, not a stripped-down student tier. Viewers and guests are unlimited and free on top of that, so your advisor or your client costs nothing. Need a fourth maker? That's the normal $5.
Do guests and clients count toward my bill?+
No. Only people who create or edit work count. Viewers, commenters, guests, and clients are always free — whether you're on Free or paying for 200 people.
What happens when I add or remove people mid-month?+
Seats settle at renewal — adding someone mid-month costs nothing until your next bill; when people leave, the next bill just drops. No prorations, ever.
What if I end up with more editors than paid seats?+
Nobody is removed and nothing is deleted. You get 14 days to pick who keeps a paid seat; anyone not picked becomes a free viewer — they stay in the workspace and keep reading and searching every project, task and comment. What they can't do is edit, comment or use team chat, because those are what the seat pays for. One click and a seat restores them exactly as they were.
Is every feature really in every plan?+
Yes. The price differs only by how many people create or edit work — export, history, automations, the API and MCP all ship in Free, and there is no tier above the one you're on. Gating features behind tiers is the model we're replacing. SAML and SSO: On every plan when it lands — never an upcharge.
What happens when my team gets smaller?+
Your next bill drops by itself. At each renewal, we check your maker count and bill exactly that many people — no downgrade form, no support ticket. The one thing that stays manual is dropping all the way to Free, since that's really canceling — that's always your one-click call, never automatic.
